Contrary to popular belief, I have NOT dropped off the face of the earth.
Nope. Though site updates have been few and far in between these days, I'm still working on stuff. As a matter of fact, the last thing I worked on was my second music vid. Unfortunately, my PC has been giving me WAY too much attitude, so trying to complete that sucker has been a royal pain. I've had to force myself to take breaks in between sessions just to keep from popping a brain cell. I'm lucky to have these last few left.
Prior to that, I was in the middle of fanfic reformatting for the new L&D. Talk about popping a brain cell. I've still got about 15 more fics to go (and they're all LONG stories, so don't plan on that getting done any time soon). There's a reason I saved them for last.
But speaking of fic, our poor little Round Robin has finally seen another chapter -- Thanks, Athena! -- and hopefully we'll get another in ASAP. Ooh, and if that wasn't great news... Earlier this evening, Kate sent me a new piece of something she's working on. It's looking lively again, folks!
In other news, Voyager DVD Season 2 is out. I've seen a few samples of screencaps here and there, and BOY are they fab-u-lous. Maybe I'll get lucky and someone will send me one for my birthday. Then again, considering that I live in an anti-Trek establishment, maybe I won't hold my breath. (Haters.) Also, Bren has been hard at work putting the finishing touches on our fanzine, "Between the Shadow and the Soul" and I for one can hardly wait for July.
I'm *so* feeling the fandom love right now.
